Winnie Wong of Momentous Insurance to be Panel Speaker at February 28th Event
Expert from Film & Television team to speak at “Greenlight Your Showbiz Career”
Van Nuys, CA, February 18, 2009 – Winnie Wong, Vice President of Momentous Insurance Brokerage and an expert in the field of production liability issues, will be a panel speaker at the upcoming “Greenlight Your Showbiz Career” networking event on February 28th.
The event will include a full day of panel discussions and Q&A with industry professionals who will discuss all aspects of the film and television business. It will take place on Saturday, February 28th from 10am – 6:30pm at Showbiz Software, 500 S. Sepulveda Blvd., Ground Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90049.
Wong will be presenting a panel entitled “The Business of the Business,” which will cover the business issues that must be attended to at every stage of the creative process. She will be discussing the need for an attorney to protect you from legal/copyright issues, the importance of an insurance broker to protect your liability and property damage issues, the importance of a sales agent to secure distributors, and of a distributor to purchase your production. An attorney, producer and distributor will also be present to answer any questions.
Wong has 22 years of experience in the entertainment insurance industry, and has represented a large number of prestigious accounts. She has played a key role in developing value-added services for the industry such as certificates online and film association Errors & Omissions.
