Momentous Insurance Brokerage listed as fourth largest insurance brokerage in the Valley
Van Nuys, CA, May 11, 2009 – Momentous Insurance Brokerage Inc. has been named the fourth largest insurance broker in the Valley by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal. In addition, our premium per licensed agent is the highest of all ranked brokers. Our relatively new firm has quickly vaulted to the forefront of the industry, posting impressive numbers in all areas.
In these trying economic times, the success is especially impressive when considering that only 15 of the top 26 brokers reported an increase within the last fiscal year, with 7 firms experiencing a decrease in overall premiums during that time. Momentous has also increased its staff size by more than 10% since the beginning of 2009, bringing the total to 109 insurance professionals.
Momentous recorded $22,000,000 in total revenue and $180,000,000 in premium volume in 2008, and now has locations in California, Tennessee and Washington, with the opening of a New York office in the near future.
