Momentous Partners with Sports Community in Charitable Giving
Van Nuys, CA (March 4, 2010) – Momentous Sports Division is proud to support the sports community in two fundraisers this Spring that will benefit charitable organizations -- Orangewood Children’s Foundation and Talk About Curing Autism.
“Momentous is dedicated to the sports community, not only as insurance advisors, but in philanthropic pursuits to help people have better quality of life,” said Momentous COO David Toth. “We operate our business with idea that you should always give back, and think it is great that the sports industry elite take time to help raise awareness for these worthwhile causes. Naturally, we want to do what we can to lend support.”
The Athlete’s First Classic Gala & Golf Event is a two-day event that will raise money for the abused and neglected children served by Orangewood Children’s Foundation. The event will honor All-Pro NFL Line backer Ray Lewis with the Golden Heart Award. In addition, over 40 professional athletes are attending the event to help boost awareness and donations for this worthwhile cause.
The Spring Training Edition of Ante Up for Autism fundraiser for Talk About Curing Autism also has some heavy hitters on the guest list. The event is co-hosted by MLB stars Matt Kemp (LA Dodgers) and Dave Stewart (Retired, Oakland A’s). Talk About Curing Autism provides information, resources and support to families affected by autism.
